McKinsey’s 2024 annual book recommendations

Reusable deep dive template showcasing McKinsey’s recommended reads

This project features a grid of content, with the option to dive deeper into individual items. I served as one of the two principal developers on this template, which was coded in React and is powered by a Node.js CMS. This template is amazing because there are many modes of customization - continous scroll vs pagiation, modal vs side overlay, dark mode vs light mode, just to name a few!

Figuring out the UX and behavior of this tool was so fun and iterative. It was a true dev-design collaboration, and also helped me flex some back-end muscles. I learned about balance of building a product that provides just enough customization to ensure flexibility, while not enabling too much freedom that would require handling every single edge case. Enforcing boundaries in UX design can be a good thing!
