Reusable deep dive template showcasing McKinsey’s work in the energy transition

This project features a grid of content, with the option to dive deeper into individual items. I served as one of the two principal developers on this template, which was coded in React and is powered by a Node.js CMS. This template is amazing because there are many modes of customization - continous scroll vs pagination, modal vs side overlay, dark mode vs light mode, just to name a few!

Figuring out the UX and behavior of this tool was so fun and iterative. It was a true dev-design collaboration, and also helped me flex some back-end muscles. I learned about the balance of building a product that provides just enough customization to ensure flexibility, while not giving the product too much freedom that would require me handling every edge case. Enforcing boundaries in UX design can be a great thing!
